Tuuli is Scotiabank’s chief economist for Asia-Pacific. She’s a sought-after commentator and analyst for global and Asia-Pacific economic affairs, drawing from her experience in Europe, Asia as well as North and South America. She appears frequently on international media, such as CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and BBC World News.

Tuuli joined the Scotiabank in 2006 after working for the European Central Bank. She holds a Masters of Science degree in economics from Helsinki School of Economics. She’s currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics on a part-time basis.
